Delete your data

You can ask us to delete your SharedCookbook account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how.

Request deletion by email

1. Send an email from the address tied to your SharedCookbook account to support@sharedcookbook.com with the subject line Delete my SharedCookbook account.
2. In the body of the email, include the email address you use to sign in (if different from the sending address) so we can verify your request.
3. We will confirm receipt and process your request within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days), unless a longer period is required by law.

What we delete

When we delete your account, we remove or anonymize:

• Your account profile and authentication records;
• Recipes and other content stored under your account, unless we must retain something for legal reasons.

Facebook Login

Removing our app or your account in SharedCookbook does not automatically delete your Facebook account. You can manage Facebook permissions and apps in your Facebook settings.
